ZimParks Appoints Two new members

The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks) has appointed  two senior managers, effective 1 April 2026.

Luckmore Safuli has been appointed as the new Public Relations Manager, bringing with him a wealth of experience in communications, media, and wildlife conservation. Ms. Pauline Matinhure takes up the role of Information Communication Technology Manager, adding significant expertise in ICT systems and project management within the public sector.

In a statement, ZimParks expressed confidence in the new appointees, noting that their combined experience would enhance the organization’s effectiveness. “We are pleased to welcome Mr. Safuli and Ms. Matinhure to the ZimParks leadership team. Their skills and experience will play a critical role in advancing our mandate,” the authority said.

Safuli is a seasoned communications specialist who has previously held key positions at the International Fund for Animal Welfare, the Kavango Zambezi Transfrontier Conservation Area Secretariat, and the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Midlands State University, a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Media Studies from the National University of Science and Technology, and a Project Management certificate from the University of Zimbabwe.

His professional achievements include being named Projects Reporter of the Year (TV) in 2016 by the Chartered Institute of Project Managers and finishing as runner-up for Mining Reporter of the Year at the National Journalists Merit Awards in 2012.

Meanwhile,  Pauline  Matinhure brings extensive experience in ICT, having worked across major public sector institutions in energy, electricity, and wildlife conservation. She holds a Master of Science in Engineering Project Management from Chinhoyi University of Technology, a Master of Commerce in Information Systems Management from Midlands State University, and a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Computer Science from Bindura University of Science Education.

Her expertise spans information security, IT governance, systems integration, business process management, and software project management. She has also earned multiple professional certifications that reinforce her capabilities in managing complex ICT environments.
