It is alleged that Munetsi took advantage of his absence, moved to the boot of the vehicle, opened the complainant’s satchel and stole cash amounting to US$4 199. During the incident, some of the banknotes were allegedly torn.

The complainant later dropped the accused without realising that the money had been stolen.

The following day, he discovered the cash was missing and began searching for the accused, eventually apprehending her.

The total value stolen is US$4 199.

Munetsi was remanded in custody pending further court proceedings.
