Heath Dhana who was the Avenues Clinic Managing Director has resigned from the post as he chases his interests in the hospitality industry.
Avenues Clinic Corporate Affairs Officer, Cordellia Shereni, said Mr Dhana was a professional who cared about the well-being of his staff.
“I can confirm that Dhana has left the Avenues Clinic. As you know, he is a well-known and an experienced manager ad leader in the hospitality industry and he has left to pursue other interests.
“He valued relations and image above everything. That’s why you find that before he took over, our offices were housed adjacent to the hospital but now we are all working from within the hospital premises,” she said.
Dhana joined the Medical Investments Limited in February when he was announced as the General Manager.
In 2022, Dhana opened a state-of -the-art pharmacy at the Chinamano corner mall.
He also worked extensively in the hospitality industry as the Director of Operations at Elewana in Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar.
Meanwhile, First Mutual former Finance Chief Officer Peddy Chigunduru has been appointed as the Acting Chief Executive Officer for MIL Avenues Clinic.
