A Spar employee identified as Faith Musonza was reportedly murdered at Fashion Fair Shopping Centre along Chiremba Road, Hatfield, Harare. According to sources, Musonza was found dead with some of her body parts removed.
Spar Hatfield confirmed the death in a statement.
“The SPAR Zimbabwe family is saddened to learn of the sad loss of life of Faith Musonza from SPAR Hatfield. We would like to extend our sincere condolences to her husband, children, relatives and colleagues.
“Faith was a valued member of the SPAR family and she will be greatly missed,” reads the statement.
Meanwhile, police, on its official twitter handle, has issued a statement about the death.
"Police in Harare are investigating circumstances surrounding a case of murder in which Faith Musonza (36) was found dead in a drain near her house along Chiremba Road, Chadcombe, Hatfield on 13 February.
“The victim's nipple were cut with an unknown sharp object and were missing. Anyone with information to report at any nearest police station.”
