Police in Guruve have arrested Richard Chigede, 39, over cases of stock theft committed between June 2022 and February 2023.
The 39-year-old committed the crime within the ZRP Mutorashanga, ZRP Mvurwi and ZRP Guruve policing areas.
Eight cattle were recovered.
The suspect allegedly sold the cattle to different people in Raffingora and Mvurwi which were all positively identified by complainants.
In a similar case, on February 21 the police arrested four suspects in connection with stock theft committed on February 13.
The suspects, Olex Gaba Mamocha, 29, Briefson Nyongani, 31, Mission Chakadama, 33, and Tichaona Meda stole 13 cattle, slaughtered and deboned them.
A Nissan NP 200 motor vehicle registration number AES 71012 and some accessories used for the commission of the crime were recovered from the suspects.
The police also recovered a 55-inch TV set, Sony Subwoofer set and sofa set valued at US$990 bought through the proceeds of the criminal acts.
