The Environmental Management Agency yesterday donated a tractor to the Municipality of Chinhoyi for refuse collection.
The Mashonaland West provincial capital, like many other urban centres in the country, has been battling with refuse collection in all parts of the town due to vehicles and fuel shortage.
While handing over the brand-new tractor, which was sourced from the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Mashonaland West, Mary Mliswa-Chikoka challenged the council to use the vehicle for its intended purpose.
This was after she successfully led the provincial clean-up campaign.
