Reports suggest that former Warriors coach Sunday “Mhofu” Chidzambwa will rejoin the DeMbare technical team soon.
This follows a run of poor results that the team has posted in recent weeks.
DeMbare last won a match when they thrashed Sheasham four nil at the giant National Sports Stadium before they went on to draw nil all with Simba Bhora and Cranborne Bullets.
Some members of the club’s executive are already impatient with coach Herbert Maruwa and would be comfortable with Chidzambwa as the next coach.
“Remember Sunday had retired from football and he recently indicated that he wants to come out of retirement because he has been approached to coach Dynamos and he has shown his wish list on the technical bench which includes Saul Chaminuka, Lloyd Mutasa as his assistants with former CAPS United goalkeeper, Brenna Msisika as the goalkeeper’s coach,” a close Dynamos source told Zim Now.
Dynamos Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Mashingaidze said the reports were not true.
“It is not true, you will be the first to know of anything the club maybe seized with,” Mashingaidze told Zim Now.
