Colliery and Bata stadiums given green light to host PSL matches

The Zimbabwe Football Association has approved Colliery and Bata stadiums to host Premier Soccer League matches.

The development was confirmed by ZIFA Acting Chief Executive Officer Xolisani Gwesela.

“The Colliery Stadium and Bata Stadium have gone through massive development and have been cleared to host Premier Soccer League matches,” said Gwesela.

Hwange, Sheasham, Black Rhinos, Green Fuel, Cranborne Bullets, Manica Diamonds and Simba Bhora are clubs who had have their preferred home grounds failing to meet PSL standards.

The CAF-trained stadium experts are still waiting to be invited to re- inspect other match venues such as the National Sports Stadium which has been overused as it is home to Dynamos, Caps United, ZPC Kariba, Black Rhinos, Herentals, Yadah FC, Simba Bhora among others.
