As the world celebrates music icon Bob Marley, reggae music fans are in for a treat at Mashwede Village on Thursday night, Zim Now has learnt.

Every Thursday, Mashwede hosts China Chemadzimai, a reggae and dancehall session.

Zim Now is informed that this Thursday’s session is meant to celebrate and commemorate the late reggae icon, Marley.

“Each and every week, Chillspot hosts China Chemadzimai and every week the theme changes.

“This week China Chemadzimai falls on 11 May, which is also the day we remember Bob Marley’s passing worldwide. So, this week, we are combining China Chemadzimai and the commemoration together. The dress code is going to be Rasta colours or Jamaican flag colours.

The event kicks off at 6pm till late and it will be hosted by Chillspot family Levels, Fantan and Rhibhe. Ras Caleb and Dj Goriath will warm up the stage and surprise guests from the entertainment industry are expected," Ras Caleb told Zim Now.
