Hwange FC players robbed at knife point

Three Hwange Football Club players were robbed at knife point after boarding a lift from Bulawayo to Hwange, the Club has confirmed

Hwange Colliery Company Executive Marketing and Cooperate Affairs manager Beauty Mutombe said they received reports that the trio were robbed after boarding a Toyota Wish along the Bulawayo-Vic Falls highway.

“We have received news about the robbery, however we are still to get more details on what really transpired, the players in question are stable and safe,” said Mutombe.

The driver of the car is said to have been working in cahoots with other passengers who robbed the trio.
