A Tynwald man has been remanded in custody after being found with Crystal Methamphetamine.
Alfred Chiraramo, 33, Tynwald South, appeared before the Harare Magistrates’ Courts charged with unlawfully possessing dangerous drugs
The State, alleges that on July, 28, 2023 at around 1300 hours, the police were informed that Chiraramo was dealing in dangerous Crystal Methamphetamine at his place of residence.
Detectives went to Chiraramo’s house and found him in his bedroom.
They identified themselves and told him the purpose of their visit.
They did a body search in him and found one sachet of Crystal Methamphetamine in his trousers pocket.
Chiraramo was subsequently arrested and was escorted to CID Drugs and Narcotics Harare where a field test was done and the drug tested positive to Crystal Methamphetamine.
The drugs were weighed and recorded approximately 1 gramme with a street value of the ZWL$5 000.
He was remanded in custody to August 1 for bail application.
