Former CAPS United playmaker, Josephy Kamwendo has taken his first professional coaching job after being named interim coach of Malawi Super League side, Bangwe All-Stars.
Bangwe hope the former Malawi national team player can rescue the team from the threat of relegation from the Super League.
A regular of the Malawi squad that qualified for the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations finals in Angola, the left-footed magician won league championships in Zimbabwe with the trailblazing Makepekepe squad of 2005, before winning other championships in Mozambique, DRC and back home in Malawi.
He is the first foreigner to be named Soccer Star of the Year in Zimbabwe when he bagged the 2005 award.
