Eight teams will compete for top honors in the tournament. Group A features St. Joseph High School, Mutimbwi High School, Chimbwembwe High School, and Magura High School, while Group B comprises Dzoro High School, Mutsambwa High School, Rundanda High School, and MYSA. To ensure a professional environment, organizers revealed that playing kits will be provided to all participating teams, with the finalists receiving an additional two sets.
The presence of Stella Gotal serves as a crucial milestone for the festival, providing motivation to young rural players who rarely get the opportunity to perform before a national team coach. The event is also expected to attract scouts, Premier Soccer League representatives, and top coaches looking to identify untapped potential.
Beyond football, the festival addresses important social issues under the theme No to Drugs, Mental Health Has No Boundaries. The organizers have lined up educational sessions focusing on mental health awareness, substance abuse prevention, and reproductive health, equipping the young athletes with essential life skills that extend far beyond the pitch.
