The Supreme Court has pushed to Thursday delivery of judgement on the appeal by the 12 Citizens Coalition for Change aspiring MPs from Bulawayo who were blocked from taking part in the August 23 election because their nomination papers were filed late.

This was reavealed by CCC national spokesperson, Fadzayi Mahere, when she addressed the media after the court.

A three-panel bench, chaired by Justice Antonia Guvava, is presiding over the matter.

The 12 were disqualified following an application by applicants who argued that the CCC candidates filed their nomination papers after the 4pm deadline on June 21.
