Monday blessings to you.
For many years, we learnt to pray with our eyes closed.
Sadly, many of us kept our eyes closed well after praying and never took the time to look around us and see the opportunities presented, sometimes, even in answer to our prayers.
Praying and believing should not make one blind to the world. True, the Word cautions against becoming swallowed by the pleasures of daily life. But is also teaches us to be awake and alert. It teaches us to plan and think ahead.
It teaches us to work and be creative. Let us be awake to opportunities, alive to realities.
1 JOHN 5: 14-15
“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him. “
Let us open our eyes.
