Dynamos coach Genesis Mangombe has warned his charges not to be complacent following their win against Sheasham.

The youthful gaffer, who is playing entertaining football believe his boys should not be carried away by the win.

This was Mangombe’s first league game after taking over from suspended Herbert Maruwa.

It was also his second win after he also won in the Chibuku Super Cup against Simba Bhora.

It has been just two matches, but everything seems to be blissful again for DeMbare as they seek to cut the gap between them and table-toppers Highlanders.

DeMbare are unbeaten in their last three matches, winning two and sharing spoils with Hwange.

The decent run of form has seen them remain fourth on the PSL log standings with 32 points.

They are nine points behind pacesetters Highlanders with 15 games left to play before the end of the season.

DeMbare are still hopeful that they will catch up with Bosso, who are still unbeaten in all competitions played this season.

And Mangombe, whose men play hosts to Simba Bhora on Sunday at Barbourfields Stadium, admits there is still a lot of work to do hence the need guard against complacency.

The former Yadah gaffer is happy that his players are getting to grips with his philosophy.

“My boys are getting that confidence and that is what we all wanted. The other thing which we want to work on is complacency because after winning two games, you get relaxed,’ Mangombe said.

“So, we just want to push them very hard, so that they go into the next assignment with the same spirit and momentum.”

Dynamos managed to score six goals in the last three matches, while conceding one.

Mangombe is excited that his strikers Elton Chikona, Jayden Bakari and Eli Ilunga are repaying the faith he has put in them.
