Churchill, Prince Edward clash in Presidential Cup final

Churchill Boys High School Rugby team, The Bulldogs, is taking on Prince Edward in the Presidential Cup Final at Glamis Stadium at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show this afternoon.

Churchill Boys qualified for the finals after beating Mt Pleasant 51-3 in the semi-final while Prince Edward beats Wise Owl 21-11 in the semi-final.

Bitter rivals for years, the two schools clash today in the Mwana Group-sponsored cup.

The match will kick off at midday at the Glamis Stadium.

The tournament has created an atmosphere of excitement with the former schoolmates providing support to their former school with incentives.

Mwana Group chief executive, Kudakwashe Mutenda has offered his former school, Prince Edward, a weekend in Victoria Falls if they beat Churchill today.

Former Churchill rugby student, Tendai Douglas Kache, promised a similar trip bonus to his team.

Mutenda and Kache once played against each other during their school days.
