Dynamos Football Club are bubbling with confidence and are hoping to lift the Chibuku Super Cup this year.
The Glamour Boys were drawn against FC Platinum in the Chibuku Super Cup Quarterfinal draw held in Harare yesterday.
In an interview with Zim Now, Dynamos FC vice chairman, Vincent Chaonza, said his side was enjoying a good run of form.
“With the form that our boys have, we are not afraid of any team. Looking at FC Platinum’s previous games, it shows that their boys are not in full form.”
Chaonza praised the team for beating Highlanders on Sunday where they managed score two goals within 30 minutes of play.
“If we manage to keep the form that we had on Sunday against Highlanders, we will surely beat FC Platinum.”
Chaonza admitted though that FC Platinum beat them in the last two Chibuku Super Cup encounters between the two sides.
“This is the third time we are facing FC Platinum in the Chibuku Super Cup and they defeated us twice but this time, they have no chance. We are ready to slaughter them,” he said.
“If you dream of winning, you will always win. So, we are obviously going to lift the Chibuku Super Cup this year,” Chaonza added.
Chaonza also extended his gratitude to Dynamos supporters.
“Considering that we don’t have a home ground, we are actually using venues outside Harare, I want to thank our supporters for rallying behind the team and supporting us wherever we go.”
