Michelle Dhube from NAMA revealed that more artists from the arts industry and corporate world have shown interest in the 3rd edition of the NAMA Golf Day on October 21, 2022 at the Royal Harare Golf Club.
Last year’s winner Andile Musambasi, Samantha Musa (MisRed), Russel Chiradza, Larry Kwirirayi, Chenesai Mangoma, Isaac Wiscot, Chiedza Kurwakumire, Shamiso Quang, Barry Mananndi, Mike Madoda are among the participants for this year’s edition.
“Some of the professional golfers participating are Sam Taylor, Nevy Milazi, Yolanda Mubaiwa, Lazarus Clever, Albert Chinamano and Blessed Chimga,” Dhube said.
This year’s NAMA Golf tournament is running under the theme: “Where arts meet sports and business”.
The tournament serves as an opportunity for artists to market their works to potential investors on the golf course.
The event also works as a forerunner to the 2023 edition of the Nama to be held in February 2023.
The NAMA golf day started in 2020, with the executive director Napoleon Nyanhi bridging the gap between artists and professionals in the corporate field to interact and network.
