Afro-fusion musician, Feli Nandi is set to take the stage at the prestigious 2023 Music In Africa Conference for Collaborations, Exchange and Showcases, to be held in Tanzania from November 9 to 11.

The Ndoona Iwe, Mubayei and Kukutadzirai singer will join other African artistes such as South Africa’s Sho Madjozi, Tanzania’s Damian Soul, Tunisia’s Nour Harkati, DRC’s Ngwaka Son System, and Ghana’s Alostmen at ACCESS.

The event is a Pan-African trade show for music industry players to exchange ideas, discover new talent, and create business linkages.

“I am ecstatic at the thought of representing Zimbabwe on such a platform,” Nandi said. “It is a big festival and I am going to give it my all.”

Music in Africa projects manager Violet Maila described ACCESS as a “melting pot of cultures and creativity”.

“It is held in a different African city every year, attracting active music industry players across the globe,” Maila said.

ACCESS 2023 is organised by the Music in Africa Foundation in partnership with Siemens Stiftung, Goethe-Institut, the Tanzanian Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports, the National Arts Council of Tanzania, and Alliance Francaise.

Nandi’s participation in ACCESS is a testament to her talent and artistry. She is one of the most exciting and innovative musicians to emerge from Zimbabwe in recent years. Her music is a fusion of Afro-fusion, pop, and traditional Zimbabwean rhythms. She is known for her energetic live performances and her powerful vocals.
