An aunt who made her nephew sleep with her husband has appeared in court.
Dorcas Mukondo, 37, and Gibson Musekiwa, 60, of Kuwadzana 4, appeared in court accused of rape.
The complainant is 17 years old.
The State alleges that in July 2023, the complainant went to Kuwadzana 4 paddocks and started staying with the accused persons.
On some day Mukondo wrote on a piece of paper, instructing the complainant to continue staying at the house, (sarapavana), since she shared the same name with her.
Mukondo allegedly instructed the complainant to start sharing the same bedroom and bed with them while Musekiwa would sleep between the two.
On the first day of sharing the same room, Mukondo instructed the complainant to have sex with Musekiwa and she refused, but later agreed.
She continued having sex with Musekiwa and in August, she discovered she was pregnant.
She told Mukondo who told Musekiwa, and they continued to have sex until September.
Early October, Musekiwa, brought a doctor home who gave tablets to complainant to abort the pregnancy.
The matter came to light on the second week of October after the complainant decided to go to her father's place where she told her grandmother about the abuse.
The two were ordered to appear in court on Tuesday for bail application.
