Another Zimsec O Level exam paper leaks

Zim Now can confirm that the 2022 Zimbabwe School Examinations Council Ordinary Level English Paper 2 written this morning was leaked before the exam.

In a statement yesterday Zimsec confirmed the leak of the Mathematics Paper 1 written in the morning (18 October), stating that investigations are underway to ascertain extent of leak after which they would make a decision on administration of the paper.

Zim Now got a digital copy of today’s paper while the exam was still in progress and sent it to Zim Sec in the morning asking for verification on whether the paper was genuine.

ZIMSEC spokesperson, Nicky Dhlamini said she would get back to the publication.

On follow up in the afternoon she would neither confirm or deny the if the paper shared was the genuine thing and said the institution had been tied up with meetings and investigations were still underway.

She said an official statement would be issued in due course.

Zim Now managed to verify that the papers is indeed the one that was written today through checking with teachers and candidates in various institutions.

A few sources including a teacher of English in Mashonaland West informed Zim Now that they received digital copies of the papers yesterday but had dismissed it as a fake.

Zimsec is still to comment.
