Pakare Paye Arts Centre set to come alive with musical excellence

All is set for Saturday’s Pakare Paye Arts Centre show with young artistes with a firm connection to the late music legend and national hero, Dr Oliver Mtukudzi.

Organised by Shami, daughter of the late Mtukudzi, the show is expected to live to its billing, judging by the list of artistes set to perform on the night. These include Garry Tight and the Tight Family Band, Rudzi the First, Sir Albert Nyabinde and the Jazz Motif Band as well as Bernard Betera and the Inheritors Band.

In an interview with Zim Now, Nyabinde, an accomplished saxophonist said he is ready to entertain the crowd at the Norton venue:

“Sir Albert Nyabinde and The Jazz Motif Band are going to make music lovers kick-start the festive season in style.

“We are going to make it a night to remember. Norton, come and enjoy our best offerings. Music is all we have to offer, so, let’s enjoy together.

“Pakare Paye Arts Centre is like our second home.”

The show is set to start at 8pm.

Admission is US$5 and people pay as they enter the venue.
