A 38-year-old Highfield man, Tendai Wellington Hove, appeared before regional magistrate Clever Tsikwa accused of murder.

The State, through prosecutor Lovet Muringwa, told the court that on Monday, on the road outside the gate at 5097 New Canaan, Highfield in Harare, Hove had a misunderstanding with the now-deceased Godwin Mututa over a US$2 note.
During the altercation, Hove drew a kitchen knife from the pocket and stabbed Mututa twice on the left shoulder.
Mututa bled profusely while on the way to Sally Mugabe Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Hove will appear in court on December 13.
