President Emmerson Mnangagwa has appointed Dr Millicent Mombeshora as a commissioner to the Public Service Commission.
The appointment of Dr Mombeshora, who comes with vast experience in information, banking, agriculture and public administration, was approved by the President in terms of Section 202(1)(b) as well as Section 320 of the constitution of Zimbabwe.
In a statement, Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Martin Rushwaya, reiterated that Mombeshora has vast knowledge and experience in both the private and public sector having held a number of positions to which she holds the relevant qualifications.
Dr Mombeshora’s knowledge and broad and diverse experience at all levels in both the private and public sectors in Zimbabwe will be of great benefit in spearheading sustainable economic development,” Rushwaya said.
The appointment of Mombeshora is with effect from February 1
