Six men have been arraigned before the courts accused of having tools to commit crime.
Bright Nyakusopa, 33, Ngonidzashe Butsu, 24, both of Mbare, Josphat Dende, 33, Kennedy Rugonye, 25, both of New Canaan Highfield, MC Allan Mujuru, 25, of Mbare and Kudakwashe Mutandwa, 23, of Highfield, appeared before magistrate Ruth Moyo at the Harare Magistrates' Courts accused of possession of articles for criminal use.
The State, through prosecutor Rufaro Chonzi,alleges that on February 15, at around 0930 hours, detectives from CID VTS Harare were informed that the accused persons had firearms.
A follow-up was made and the detectives managed to track down and locate the accused persons who were driving a green unregistered Subaru at Corner Simon Mazorodze and Daniel Street, Mbare, Harare.
The allegedly searched the car and found five knuckle buster dusters, one teaser and a button stick.
They were remanded in custody.
