Minister of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion, Professor Mthuli Ncube has appointed Mrs Ntombenhle Moyo the Procurement Regulatory Authority Zimbabwe board chairperson.
“It is hereby notified that the Minister responsible for procurement, in terms of paragraph 7(1) of the First Schedule to the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act [Chapter 22:23], has appointed Mrs Ntombenhle Moyo as the Board Chairperson for the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe, with effect from the 2nd of November, 2023,” reads the Government Gazette.
“The Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe board, management and staff extend heartfelt congratulations to Mrs Ntombenhle Moyo, on her appointment as board chairperson of the Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe. We wish her well in all her new role. Her depth of knowledge, strategic thinking and ability to navigate the regulatory landscape will undoubtedly steer the authority towards greater heights,” said PRAZ in a statement.
Mrs Moyo has wide board experience and has served on PRAZ board and that of its predecessor, the State Procurement Board, sits on the Rent Board and serves on the SME's Committee NEC Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce.
Mrs Moyo, who is CEO of EATC Group Of Colleges and President of Rotary Club of Belmont, has several awards under her belt, including Businesswoman of the Year, Woman of Excellence, Woman Entrepreneur of the Year.
