The Zimbabwe Football Association has appointed Norman Mapeza as the Warriors interim head coach, and will take charge of the upcoming four-nations tournament scheduled for Lilongwe, Malawi.
The tournament, slated for March 18 to 26, is expected to feature the hosts, Malawi, Kenya, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
In a statement on the Zifa Facebook page, the football mother body said Mapeza will be supported by Ngezi Platinum Stars head coach, Takesure Chiragwi.
“Mapeza will be assisted by Ngezi Platinum Stars head coach, Takesure Chiragwi.”
Norman Mapeza is the current head coach of Premier Soccer League side FC Platinum, a side with whom he has won multiple league titles. The former national team captain has had several previous stints with the Warriors as head coach.
