Former Citizens Coalition for Change, Nelson Chamisa continues to move away from political party-affiliated politics with his recent launch of the Chamisa News Channel.
In a statement, when he resigned, Chamisa said the focus is to form a movement that accommodates people without relation to structures of a political system.
The CNC is a WhatsApp news platform, reflecting a clear attempt by the former CCC leader to move away from conventional politics.
Posting on X, Chamisa said the news channel will be used to provide perspectives and ideas on current affairs and what to expect in the future from the politician.
“The News Network ... Greetings fellow citizens, I have opened this Chamisa News Channel to share my vision, ideas, thoughts, insights and perspectives on current affairs and the steps into the future.
“Please join us as we grow this channel. We are that great community of the civilised!!! God bless you!!,” Chamisa said in the post.
In his founding affidavits in response to accusations from Senator Sengezo Tshabangu on violation of Bulawayo party offices, Chamisa denied being part of any political party grouping, or association with any party or colour.
