Son to Women’s Affairs Minister Monica Mutsvangwa and Zanu PF spokesperson Chris Mutsvangwa, Neville Mutsvangwa has reportedly been arrested today (Wednesday) for illegal forex deals.
Sources say that Neville Mutsvangwa was arrested by officers from the Commercial Crimes Division at his Mt Pleasant home.
The police have not yet issued a statement but a source told Zim Now that Mutsvangwa is likely to appear tomorrow at The Harare Magistrate’s Court.
At least 77 illegal forex dealers have been arrested since the introduction of the new ZiG currency with Government warning that no mercy would be shown to any “money changer”. The arrested dealers have not been granted bail.
RBZ governor John Mushayavanhu recently said that street forex dealers arrested by the police should name their crime lords if they exist.
Neville Mutsvangwa has been named on social media as a money changer and and a Starlink distributor.
