A man from Sunninghill suburb in Bulawayo, Jeffres Hove, lost his manhood following an altercation with Douglas Gwanyanya, after the latter had been warned to stay away from the former’s two aunts who were also drinking beer at the shebeen.
According to reports, the two seemed to have had an agreement before Gwanyanya went to Hove who was seated and kicked him on the genitals.
Gwanyanya appeared before the Magistrates' Court facing charges of assault, to which he pleaded not guilty.
The kick on the genitals led to Hove losing part of his manhood which doctors deemed irreparable.
Gwanyanya was remanded out of custody to July 2, 2024 on US$30 bail.
