Harare's premier entertainment joint, Club Troyka, threw a vibrant bash this past Friday night to celebrate its first year in business.

The celebratory mood was tinged with a touch of remembrance as Trevor paid tribute to two departed music icons, Soul Jah Love and Junior King.

The night started with a captivating performance by  Dongo, who left the audience, especially the ladies, mesmerized with his soulful tunes. Dongo's set included surprise appearances by stars like Madiz, MuZimba, and Jimmy from Extra Large

A moment of solemnity touched the revelers as Dongo paid tribute to the late Junior King, who will be laid to rest today at Mbudzi cemetery. Dongo also extended his homage to the revered provincial hero, Soul Jah Love.

Hwinza kept the energy high with a dynamic performance, electrifying the crowd with hit after hit. Killer T, the current crowd favorite, lived up to his billing, delivering an electrifying performance that had the audience roaring with excitement, particularly during his smash hit "Kana Ndanyura."

One audience member, identified as Shalom, was particularly touched by Killer T's performance of "Hupenyu Hwenherera."  "This song speaks volumes about my life," Shalom shared, tears welling up in her eyes. "Growing up as an orphan, the lyrics resonate deeply with my soul," she said.

Troyka's entertainment manager, Boss Makendu, expressed his satisfaction with the event's success. "We understand that people are facing many challenges right now," Makendu said. "Our goal is to provide a form of therapy through entertainment. We're happy with what we've accomplished in our first year, and we're already planning events that will be fun for the whole family."
