Harare set for summer explosion

Music enthusiasts in Harare are gearing up for a thrilling outdoor adventure as the highly anticipated Summer Festival is set to take place on September 14 at the iconic Alex Sports Club.

Headlined by the superstar Jah Prayzah and featuring an impressive lineup of local talent, including Feli Nandi, Holy Ten, Master H, and Takura, the festival promises to be a memorable event.

To add to the excitement, a stellar cast of DJs will be spinning tunes to keep the crowd dancing all night long. Godfather Templeman, Dj Tanaman, Merciless, and Dj Iroq are among the renowned DJs confirmed for the event.

Four Links Entertainment, a newcomer to the music promotion scene, is confident that they have curated the perfect lineup for this outdoor extravaganza. The company's director, Comment Mupoga, expressed his enthusiasm for the festival, stating, "We are excited to be part of the local entertainment industry and to host the Summer Festival at Alex Sports Club. This is our second event this year, and we are quickly learning all the ropes to ensure a memorable experience for both artists and fans."

Mupoga revealed that the Summer Festival is intended to be an annual event, showcasing the best of Zimbabwean music talent. While he initially aimed for a more balanced lineup with more female artists, scheduling conflicts prevented him from including additional female acts. However, Feli Nandi is set to deliver a powerful performance, adding a touch of diversity to the festival.

To generate excitement and reward fans, Four Links Entertainment will be running various promotions on Star FM. Lucky listeners will have the chance to win tickets to the event, adding to the anticipation.

Advance tickets for the Summer Festival are now available at Booties and Diamond Pharmacies. Fans can choose from three ticket options: ordinary entry for US$10, VIP for US$20, and VVIP for US$40.
