Ngezi Platinum Stars head coach Takesure Chiragwi has urged his side to be more clinical in front of goal as they face AS Maniema in the CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg match in Kinshasa.
Despite dominating the first leg, which ended goalless, Chiragwi knows that a goal in the away leg could be crucial. "We had a lot of opportunities in the first leg, which we, unfortunately, failed to utilize," he lamented. "We must continue to play the way that provided us an edge in creating chances without undermining the strength or abilities of the opponent."The Zimbabwean champions arrived in Kinshasa on Thursday and had their first training session the following day. Chiragwi expressed satisfaction with the team's spirit and preparation. However, he remains concerned about their goal-scoring drought, having scored only one goal in their last six matches across all competitions. "We need to be clinical," he emphasized.
