Luton Town midfielder Nakamba has been sidelined for several months due to injury but is now nearing a return to action. Warriors coach Michael Nees expressed his satisfaction with Nakamba's development and hinted at a potential inclusion in the squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers against Namibia.

Zimbabwe currently sits in third place in Group J, with two points from two matches. The team will be aiming to secure a top-two finish to qualify for the Afcon finals in Morocco next year.

akamba's return would be a significant boost for the Warriors. The former Aston Villa star has been a key player for the national team and his experience and leadership would be invaluable.

Nees acknowledged the importance of taking a cautious approach with Nakamba due to his injury history. However, he expressed optimism about the midfielder's ability to contribute to the team in the near future.

With the Afcon qualifiers approaching, Zimbabwe will be hoping for a strong performance against Namibia. A victory in both matches could propel the team to the top of the group and increase their chances of qualifying for the continental tournament.
