Wicknell's $1M pledge

Scottland FC President, Scott Sakupwanya, has lavished praise on prominent businessman Sir Wicknell for his unprecedented USD 1 million pledge to the team.

 Speaking to Zim Now,  Scott described Sir Wicknell's incentive as "a game-changer" for Scottland FC's Premier Soccer League ambitions.

 "Sir Wicknell's generosity has electrified our team and inspired us to work tirelessly towards promotion,"  Sakupwanyasaid. "His investment in our future is unprecedented and humbling."

 This pledge follows Sir Wicknell's recent donation of 30 Toyota Aquas to Scottland FC players and technical staff.  Sakupwanya noted that Sir Wicknell's support extends beyond the team, contributing significantly to Zimbabwean football development.

 "Sir Wicknell previously sponsored the Warriors with USD$1 million, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to local football," He added

 Sakupwanya emphasized the significance of Sir Wicknell's partnership with Scottland FC.

 "Sir Wicknell's vision and kindness have cemented his legacy in Zimbabwean football," He said. "We are honored to have him as a partner in our journey to the PSL."

 With Sir Wicknell's incentive driving them forward, Scottland FC remains focused on securing the sole PSL promotion ticket.

 "We pledge to work tirelessly to make Sir Wicknell's vision a reality," Sakupwanya concluded.

When contacted for comment, Sir Wicknell expressed his confidence in Scottland FC's potential.

"I believe in this team, and I'm committed to supporting their success," Sir Wicknell said.
