The wait is finally over, and the countdown begins! Zimbabwe's dancehall sensation, Winky D, is set to electrify Rufaro Stadium next Saturday, as he takes the stage for the official launch of SWAN. Sharing the spotlight with the legendary Alick Macheso, Winky D promises an unforgettable night of music, energy, and pure entertainment.
But that's not all! Winky D has also been nominated for the prestigious Best African Dancehall Entertainer award at the 42nd International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
The SWAN launch promises to be an epic event, featuring an incredible lineup of artists, including Master H, Kinnah, Nisha T, Saintfloew, Darula, Mcdrot, Fantan, and Level. Winky D's Vigilant band will be live on stage, delivering their signature high-energy performance.
But the excitement doesn't stop there! The event will also feature two thrilling soccer matches: a free match between Dynamos and CAPS United Legends, followed by a showdown between Zim Musicians Select and a Legends Select.
Winky D is urging his fans to come out in numbers and support the event. "The Gaffa and Vigilant band will be live at the only launch of SWAN, you should come in numbers, musasare pass through and enjoy," he posted on Facebook.
