ZWPSL Targets Growth with New Team

The Zimbabwe Women Premier Soccer League has appointed a five-member Adhoc Committee on Marketing and Sponsorship as part of its efforts to enhance visibility and secure commercial partnerships.

Announced today, the committee will be chaired by ZWPSL Vice Chairperson Dumisani Sithole, with Platinum Royals Chairperson Chido Chizondo serving as deputy chair. Other members include Colonel Ntokoziso Moyo, Judith Tinarwo, and Lewis Muzhara.

According to the league, the committee will play a pivotal role in crafting marketing strategies and attracting sponsors to support the growth of women’s football across Zimbabwe.

“This strategic move comes ahead of the league’s resumption on Saturday,” said the ZWPSL in a statement.

ZWPSL Chairperson Theresa Maguraushe expressed confidence in the new team, calling them both talented and committed.

“We are excited to announce the appointment of this talented and dedicated team, who will drive our marketing and sponsorship efforts to new heights,” she said.

The ZWPSL is the country’s top-tier women’s football league, mandated with promoting and developing the women’s game nationwide.
