Pams Academy striker, Tsindi Blessing, lived up to his nickname “The Game Changer” after producing a remarkable performance that turned the tide in a Division 2 league clash against Gweru-based 13 Stars FC.
Introduced in the 54th minute, Tsindi wasted no time in making an impact. Within 20 minutes, he struck the equaliser to cancel out 13 Stars’ lead, igniting hope for the home side. Moments later, he capitalised on another opportunity inside the box to hand Pams Academy a 2-1 lead, sealing an important victory in front of their home fans.
Speaking after the match, a delighted Tsindi credited teamwork for the hard-fought win. “I feel so proud of the performance we had as a team. Scoring against such strong opponents means we are improving as a team,” he said.
The win was particularly significant for Pams Academy, who had suffered a 3-1 defeat to 13 Stars in their first-round meeting in Gweru. This time, they made full use of home advantage to secure revenge and vital points in the campaign.
Despite the victory, Pams Academy remain in 11th place on the Division 2 league table with 15 points. Their opponents, 13 Stars, sit in third position with 33 points, trailing just behind Shurugwi FC, who are second with 35 points. Hwahwa FC continue to lead the standings with 36 points as the race for promotion intensifies.
For Pams Academy, however, the story of the day belonged to Tsindi Blessing — a player whose timely heroics once again justified his reputation as “The Game Changer.”
