Businessman Malvern Chimutashu had property worth US$10 000 attached following a Harare magistrate’s order over rental arrears.

Chimutashu's company EBA Insurance failed to pay one year’s rentals to retired banker Lawrence Tamayi for property in Mt Pleasant, Harare.

It is ordered that the Messenger of Court do seize and arrest so much of the movable property, effects and appliances of EBA Insurance ... as shall be sufficient to satisfy the sum of US$10 000 or the equivalent in Zimbabwe dollars at the official Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe exchange rate and costs.”
