Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has intensified traffic enforcement in Harare’s Central Business District (CBD) with the introduction of ten state-of-the-art motorcycles. According to a post on the ZRP’s official X page, the new motorcycles will help tackle traffic congestion, lawlessness, and unruly conduct on roads leading into the capital.

“The deployment of these motorcycles represents a significant step in our efforts to ensure safe and orderly traffic flow in Harare,” the ZRP stated. “We urge citizens to report drivers—whether in private or public service vehicles—who engage in dangerous behavior, so that the law can take its course.”
The ZRP emphasized that public cooperation is crucial in achieving safer roads. Citizens are encouraged to report any instances of reckless driving, contributing to the overall mission of maintaining order and enhancing road safety throughout the city.
The newly introduced motorcycles are equipped with advanced features to improve mobility, response times, and operational efficiency. This initiative is part of the ZRP’s broader strategy to modernize operations and strengthen law enforcement across Zimbabwe’s urban centers.
