Winky D, Busy Signal collabo dropped ahead of Kadoma Music Festival

 

Zimbabwean music icon Winky D has released a song featuring Jamaican dancehall giant Busy Signal. The track, titled “Let’s Link Up and Drink Up Tonight,” dropped just days before the highly anticipated Kadoma Music Festival, where both artists are set to perform on October 11.

Rumours that the two were working on a joint project made the rounds on social media in August.

Fans have already begun flooding social media with praise for the new track, describing it as a perfect anthem for the upcoming festival. The statement accompanying the release highlighted that the performance is expected to “electrify the Kadoma Music Festival,” with Winky D and Busy Signal ready to deliver a high energy set that will keep the crowd on its feet.

This is not the first time the two artists have appeared on the same project. In April 2025, they were both featured on the "Dubstyle Riddim," produced by Dynamq.

Meanwhile, fellow Zimbabwean artist Baba Harare has also been making waves with his recently launched album “Wise and Greater.” The project has been met with widespread acclaim, as fans continue to vibe to its tracks across social media platforms.
