Hezy Motors Refutes Fraud Allegations Circulating on Social Media

 

Hezy Motors Logistics (Pvt) Ltd has dismissed as false and malicious recent social media allegations accusing the company of defrauding customers and failing to deliver vehicles after payment.

In a statement released on Saturday, the vehicle logistics company described the claims — circulating mainly on Facebook and X — as “completely false, malicious, and defamatory.”

The company maintained that it has always operated transparently and in full compliance with Zimbabwean law.

“We wish to categorically and unequivocally state that these allegations are completely false and malicious. We have always conducted business honestly, transparently, and in full compliance with the laws of Zimbabwe,” the company said.

Hezy Motors asserted that every customer who has purchased a vehicle from them has either received delivery or is in the process of doing so under agreed terms. The company also noted that no formal complaints have been lodged with its offices regarding the alleged misconduct.

According to the statement signed by Corporate Affairs representative Kingdom Munedzimwe, individuals behind the false claims have been arrested, and police investigations are underway.

“We are cooperating fully with law enforcement to ensure that justice is served and those responsible are held accountable,” Munedzimwe said.

Hezy Motors acknowledged that the misinformation may have caused concern among clients but assured customers that “all legitimate transactions remain intact and in progress.” 

The company reaffirmed its commitment to its clients, business partners, and other stakeholders.

In the same statement, the company announced the launch of new initiatives aimed at making vehicle ownership more accessible to Zimbabweans, including a “Zero Percent Deposit Deal” available at all its branches nationwide.

Hezy Motors, headquartered at 13 Bertram Road, Milton Park, Harare, emphasized that it remains dedicated to its mission of “putting every Zimbabwean behind the wheel of their car of choice.”
