
Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza says his team’s readiness particularly in bowling and fielding, iy.1dwill determine their chances when they open the T20I tri-series against hosts Pakistan in Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
Speaking to the media on the eve of the tournament, Raza said, “Before I know the plan to beat Pakistan, I have to know my team first. If they can bowl and field, then we have the ability to beat Pakistan.”

He acknowledged the challenge that lies ahead but insisted that Zimbabwe have proven their ability to compete with high-quality opposition. “Even the record can confirm that we managed to beat very strong teams we have played against, and our idea is always the same -the idea of winning,” Raza emphasized.
His comments reflect a confident yet grounded Zimbabwe side as they prepare to face hosts Pakistan team renowned for its strength in the T20 format.
