Goalie Muza traces footsteps back to roots

Highlanders FC has recalled goalkeeper Reward Muza from a six-months loan to Bulawayo City as Bosso regroup for the 2023 season.

Muza has on loan to City since July last year where he played a pivotal role. He had become a regular starter at the Council-owned club, but has decided to return home to Bosso where he will compete for the Number  1 jersey with skipper Ariel Sibanda.

"As Highlanders football club we have so far signed Calvin “Kung-fu Panda” Chigonero from Talen Vision and then Gillian Nyathi was promoted from the Bosso90 side where he was captain.

“On the list we also have Reward Muza who was loaned out to BCC and has now been recalled to the club. Nkosi Sibanda has renewed his contract which had expired last year. We will be giving you more updates as time goes on," said Nozibelo Maphosa, the Highlanders Spokesperson.

Bosso defender Andrew Tandi's contract was extended by another year while midfielder Bukhosi Sibanda was offloaded after his contract expired on December 31, last year.
