Dr Cecil Toendepi Chinenere has been appointed as Zimbabwe’s Ambassador to Canada.
The announcement was made by the Secretary to the President and Cabinet Dr Misheck Sibanda.
“It is hereby notified that His Excellency the President has, in terms of section 110(2)(i) and 204 of the Constitution of Zimbabwe, appointed Cecil Toendepi Chinenere as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Canada,” he said.
Previously, Dr Chinenere served as charge d’Affaires at Zimbabwe House in the United Kingdom for four years.
