
The 2025 Zimbabwe Kids & Teens Models Awards was successfully held in December as a vibrant and inspiring celebration of confidence, talent, creativity, and leadership among children and teenagers across the country. The prestigious event brought together parents, schools, industry partners, and community leaders, all united by a shared commitment to nurturing and recognising young excellence.
The ceremony was graced by Yollanda Chimbarami, who served as the Guest of Honour. Her presence and words of encouragement added immense value to the occasion, as she emphasised the importance of mentorship, discipline, resilience, and self-belief in the growth and development of young people.

While the awards primarily celebrate outstanding young models and creatives, the 2025 edition also intentionally highlighted the vital role parents play in shaping and sustaining young talent. In recognition of exceptional parental support and dedication, a special honour was presented to Ms Deleen Masawi Kaseke for her unwavering commitment and meaningful contribution to the development of young talent.
One of the most anticipated moments of the evening was the announcement of the Overall Model of the Year. This prestigious title was awarded to Ngoni Sanchez Mpofu, whose consistency, confidence, and excellence throughout the competition clearly set him apart. Yamikani Marasha and Tammar Muchineuta were named runners-up after delivering impressive performances that demonstrated remarkable growth and professionalism.
The awards also celebrated excellence across a wide range of categories, recognising diverse talents and unique strengths. Notable winners included Liam Matonsi Dube, Lennox Kartel Mhlanga, Ruach Mlambo, Ryan Fengu, and Nathan Sithole, each applauded for their commitment, creativity, and outstanding potential.
