
Zvishavane-based Sabi Gold Mine FC has declared its intentions to compete strongly this season in the Central Region Soccer League, aiming for promotion to the Castle lager Premier Soccer League (PSL).
Backed by solid financial support, the club is confident it can sustain a competitive campaign throughout the season.
To lead their charge, Sabi Gold Mine FC appointed former Shabanie Mine Football Club legend Lovemore Chisunga, popularly known as Tsono, as head coach.

Chisunga brings a experience and local knowledge to the role, having previously made his mark in the Zimbabwean football scene.
“The club means business this season, and we will fight for the Central Region championship and PSL promotion,” Chisunga stated,
Zvishavane has become a hotbed of football talent, with three clubs from the same town competing in the Central Region League. Alongside Sabi Gold Mine FC, Shabanie Mine Club FC and PF Platinum U19 will also battle for supremacy, setting the stage for a fiercely contested season.
With high ambitions and a seasoned coach at the helm, Sabi Gold Mine FC eyes to leave mark in the Central Region and push toward top-flight Zimbabwean football.
