The Zimbabwe Rugby Union has partnered with Gilbert Rugby as their official ball sponsor of the Zimbabwe national rugby team "the Sables", ahead of their Rugby World Cup campaign.
“We’re delighted to announce Gilbert Rugby as our official ball partner,” the union said,
Gilbert Rugby, one of the most big brands in international rugby and long-time supplier of match balls for major tournaments, will provide high-performance equipment as the Sables intensify their build-up to the 2027 Rugby World Cup.

The announcement comes shortly after the unveiling of the 2027 Rugby World Cup fixtures in the first week of February 2026, giving Zimbabwe ample time to fine-tune preparations.
The Sables have been drawn in a challenging Group C alongside the formidable England national rugby union team, Wales national rugby union team and Tonga national rugby union team.
Zimbabwe will open their campaign against Wales at Adelaide Oval on October 2, 2027. They will then remain at the same venue to face England before concluding their group stage fixtures against Tonga at Queensland Stadium.
