Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, the son of late Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe, will remain in custody after his bail hearing was postponed due to a power outage at the Alexandra Magistrate's Court in Johannesburg.
The 28 year old and his co-accused, Tobias Matonhodze, are facing charges of attempted murder, possession of a firearm, and defeating the ends of justice.

The case stems from a shooting incident at Mugabe's Hyde Park residence on February 19, where a 23-year-old gardener was shot in the back. The firearm used in the incident is still missing, and prosecutors are opposing bail, citing ongoing investigations and verification of Mugabe's immigration status.
The court has postponed the bail hearing to March 11, allowing the state to provide outstanding documents and the defense to review the case.
